Retaining Walls Mooresville

Retaining Walls Mooresville

Retaining Walls Mooresville

Retaining walls have more value than many residential home owners realize. A properly installed retaining wall will add beauty to a lawn, increase the usable lawn space and increase the equity of the property.

A residential lawn typically has 1/4 to 1/3 acre of land, in which the home resides along with the landscape foliage. A retaining wall used to add beauty will increase the land space by incorporating planters and vegetation, thus adding flowers in areas otherwise impossible to enhance.

Many lake shore lots have a sloping lawn, adding a retaining wall will allow for leveling and stair-stepping or sectioning of lawn previously not accessible. The rock wall can be constructed in sections or as a larger single wall with access to the shoreline.

Retaining walls and trees are not a good mix, be mindful of where you add trees to your property, the roots of a tree can compromise the integrity of the wall and cause it to fail.

Service what you sell!

As we have installed hundreds of immaculate landscapes in and around the Lake Norman shore line for residents and businesses, we also maintain most of them. Landscape maintenance is a large portion of our jobs, keeping everything beautiful and functional is critical. Perennials and annuals are the vital aspects of a “Living Garden” and we incorporate a flower or vegetation theme according to the desires of the homeowner. Yellow this spring and purple the next, we can make that happen.

Let us help get you started on a beautiful annual bed and show you the best methods to maintain it going forward.

Mulch Spreading is BACKBREAKING!

Mulch Spreading is BACKBREAKING!

Mulch Spreading is BACKBREAKING!

You can borrow a truck, go to some local fellow with a Bobcat, and get a load of mulch. Then drive home (hope you’re not overweight and the highway patrol sees you), shovel it into a wheel barrel, push it all around your yard and unload it in the appropriate spot AND then spread it…wow, what a lot of work! Then put gas in your friend’s truck and drive it back to him, there went your Saturday.

OR

You can call us, we will deliver the mulch, spread it in the areas you request or us our (really cool) mulch blowing system, to quickly and easily distribute your mulch for your yard and around your Mooresville retaining walls.

You just got your Saturday back and you back don’t hurt on Sunday!

Creating shade can supply relief from hot summer days and can beautify of your landscape as well.  The terms “arbor” and “pergola” are often used interchangeably to describe a very similar garden structure. Both structures support climbing plants. However, a pergola is a more elaborate and substantial structure than an arbor.  Please contact us if you would like us to incorperate an arbor or pergola in to your landscape.

Stone walls, retaining walls, and hardscapes are a big portion of our business. Greatly adding beauty, usability, and equity into a home, hardscapes such as retaining walls are a project all homeowners enjoy for decades.

Earlier this summer we installed a retaining wall and outdoor kitchen at a Kannapolis home, using all-natural products including the pavers, fireplace and water feature. The results were outstanding and the homeowners were ecstatic with the addition to their lawn.

Sprinkler Systems for Mooresville and Lake Norman Homes

Sprinkler Systems for Mooresville and Lake Norman Homes

Irrigation systems are vital to the success of a good landscape project; if a new system needs to be installed we take the time to diagram the system to fit your lawn. Everything is taken into consideration whether it’s simple as what type of sprinkler heads we install or attaching a water feature to the water access. We address the entire project.

As professional landscape consultants, we don’t just come in without a plan. Everything is mapped out and approved by the homeowner before we break ground. We stand by the idea that if you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. Thus all of our projects are extensively hand drawn to the specifications of the homeowner. This preparation process ensures that we stay on budget and time.
